The Dean of Students’ affairs in collaboration with the Principal shall have responsibilities in the following areas:

• Facilitates and assists the Principal in implementing the Vision, Mission and Goals of the college.

• Serves as a liaison between college administration and Students’ Council.

• Implements and coordinates all leadership and personality development activities for the students.

• Plans, advises/guides and personally oversees the execution of all Co-curricular Activities.

• Attends to the needs and queries of the students in general.

• Maintains records of all students’ activities.

• Supervises students’ Code of Conduct and if needed refers the matters to the Disciplinary Committee.

• Implements the Code of Conduct for students and all college policies as per the stated rules and regulations of the college.

• Maintains cordial/professional relationship with local  authorities and parents/guardians regarding students’ behaviour in and off campus.

• Responds to students’ emergency needs as and when they occur.

• Serves as the primary administrative contact person for students in both Postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.

• Provides general assistance to students who come with general queries, both academic and non-academic.

• Attends to issues, such as those related to harassment, discrimination, and sexual misconduct, etc.

• Communicates with students, staff and parents in a positive, friendly and professional manner.

• Upholds professional integrity at all times exercising discretion, confidentiality, loyalty and trust.
