The Director of Self Finance Course in collaboration with the Principal shall have responsibilities in the following areas:

• The Director of SFC (Self-Financed Courses) department of St. Joseph's College, Darjeeling is a key administrative position responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of self-financed courses offered by the college. The SFC department offers a range of courses that are not subsidized by the government and are funded through student fees.

• The Director of SFC department is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and management of self-financed courses. The director works closely with other college administrators, faculty members, and staff to ensure that the courses are aligned with the college's mission, goals, and objectives.

• Some of the key functionaries of the Director of SFC department of St. Joseph's College, Darjeeling include:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to self-financed courses, including admission, tuition fees, course scheduling, and examination processes.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote and market the self-financed courses to potential students and stakeholders.

  • Working with faculty members to develop and review course curricula, ensuring that they are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of students and the industry.

  • Overseeing the assessment and evaluation of self-financed courses to ensure that they meet academic standards and are of high quality.

  • Collaborating with other college departments and stakeholders to ensure that the self-financed courses are integrated into the overall academic program of the college.

  • Managing the budget and finances of the SFC department, including ensuring that tuition fees are collected and allocated appropriately.
